The NBC Universal stable hosted their upfront event to showcase the latest shows to invited guests.
The stable includes E!, Telemundo, Studio Universal and the Universal channel.
Personally I’m a big fan of E! so all the content pertaining to it had me giddy with excitement.
The black and white theme is a firm favourite of mine and everyone dressed accordingly.
You can never go wrong with a monochromatic theme.
Morgan Beatbox blew us away with his introduction to the event.
The ever so stunning Lalla Hirayama was the emcee for the afternoon.

Here are some of the new shows and new seasons I’m excited to see on E!
Fashion Police will return with Melissa Rivers at the helm of the show. It’s set to air on 2 September at 21:00 just in time for awards season.
WAGS

The brand new show WAGS shows the life of the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes. With the hierarchy of the wags explained on the promo reel, it looks like we’re in for some drama and claws.
DASH Dolls

Finally a show dedicated to the DASH Dolls, I’ve been eagerly waiting for a show focusing on the pretty girls running the day-to-day happenings of the DASH stores under the leadership of the Kardashian sisters.
E! News Special

The big announcement at the event was the E!’s first ever African production. E! News Special will be a 12 episode show focusing on Africa’s big names in the entertainment industry, giving viewers insight on the lives of the personalities including Bonang Matheba, AKA, Shashi Naidoo and Terry Pheto.

The Queen B, Bonang Matheba shared her feelings about being a part of E! and how she’s always looked up to Ryan Seacrest as her idol.
With the latest announcement of E! News Special, Bonang should be proud. I know fans will definitely be.
I’m happy that E! has spanned into the African continent and it can only mean more locally created content coming our way.
With the big announcement over with, it was a fun afternoon with the photo booth and Larry Soffer the Illusionist.

It was a lovely afternoon catching up with The Star’s Debashine Thangevelo and Jen Su.
