I was recently invited to the Bloggers’ InstaWalk by The Forum Company at the campus.
I was intrigued by the invite that I questioned my friend and fellow blogger at Crazy-Beautiful, Jenna De Wit about the InstaWalk.
Jenna told me to come prepared for an intriguing walk with a charged phone ready for Instagram.
That could only mean three words, picture perfect things!
And picture perfect it was.
The InstaWalk at The Forum began with welcome drinks to where bloggers, editors and other invited guests were ushered to the start of the InstaWalk.

Firstly, it was explained how The Forum presents innovative ways of team building. This was presented in the form of artisan bread-making.
A selection of dough, including rye, sourdough and even charcoal. I had to try the charcoal dough.
Along with the dough, there was a fragrant variation of herbs, garlic, tomatoes to work into the artisan bread.
While the bread was taken by the staff to bake, the InstaWalk continued with walk through the gallery of South African artwork.
During the walk through inspiring art pieces at The Forum, we were ushered to the start of the canapés.

The next set of canapés was served in the impressive triple volume room as the hostess explained the various location of The Forum Company.
I didn’t know where to snap first, the intricate installation or the appetizers.

Moving through the venue, we were ushered into the auditorium as Celynn Eramus of the FAB Quotient presented her tips to stay energized.
From energizing ourselves, to drawing our portrait with our eyes closed had us laughing with play activist Anthea Moy.

After all the walking, snapping up as much as I could of the InstaWalk, lunch was served.

The day wasn’t complete as we were told to move to the next room for dessert.
I was initially confused why dessert could not be served at the beautiful lunch setting until we were each escorted to our seats.

Having attended numerous food events, it was my first time eating dessert off a table. I had to wrap my mind around the concept.

The InstaWalk hosted by The Forum Company was a combination of sensations as it was visual and edible feast to showcase a snippet of what the company can do and more for any event from corporate ‘dos to weddings.
