It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, while I think that a piece of art is endless.
As an admirer of art myself, I enjoy the leisure of visiting art galleries. It’s not a rushed outing, so you can take your time to examine and enjoy the beauty of an art piece.
You need not travel too far to do so, the Turbine Art Fair (TAF15) is taking place at the Turbine Hall in Newtown, Johannesburg. Starting off with the opening cocktail evening on Thursday 16 July and the fair ends on Sunday 19 July.It offers more than just your regular art gallery.
Jason Von Berg and I chatted to Vicky Ross on CliffCentral’s The Buzz about TAF15 and what to expect from the art fair.
Have a listen to our interview with Vicky here:

Just as Vicky said in our interview, TAF15 is a great opportunity to start your own investment in art.
Along with daily talks given by influential people in the industry and a designated area for the children to create their own masterpieces.
There will be live music and artisan food stalls, making TAF15 the go-to place for a weekend out in Jozi.
So change your weekend plans and head to the Turbine Hall.
