Recently I attended the BBC Worldwide channel launch in Kramerville to see what exciting channels will be added to the DStv package.
As with any event, I have my go-to team to help me prepare for events.
I like trying new things so is my hairstylist Jen Dale, owner of Studio 310 Hair Salon.
There is never any idea, colour or style that frightens Jen when I ask her.
This time around, Jen decided to shake up the usual poker smooth straight hairstyle with a braid!
Jen explained it to me when I walked into the salon. “I have no idea what it will look like but I love it,” I replied.
With my usual wash, and then a perfect flat iron, Jen walked her magic as she braided the crown of my hair.
When I looked in the mirror I noticed that it was quite the illusion braid as it blended in with the poker straight ‘do.
Quite the fun alternative to a flat-ironed look, I say.
