Most of us are back into the swing of reality. Those “Back to School” posters are a  reminder that the Christmas holidays flew by so quickly. I swear I blinked and it was over… Guess I’m fooling myself, since I’m guilty of still having my Christmas tree up. I swear it will be packed away come Saturday morning.

Favourite Baby Product: Pouch Love

Now with my baby eating solids, I’ve had to find ways for storing her meals.  I bought two sets of Pouch Love  at the Kids Emporium Boksburg.  These reusable pouches are convenient, easy to store and to freeze meals.  A must for mommies!

Favourite Feel-Good Story: Dog Saves Owner After Breaking His Neck

This story gave me the fuzzies. Kelsey, a golden retriever followed her owner outside as he went to fetch wood for his fireplace. Unfortunately, Bob the owner fell and broke his neck. Kelsey stayed with her owner for 20 hours until someone finally heard her barking.

She kept her owner warm as he was dressed only in his pyjamas by lying on him. Kelsey saved her owner!

Favourite News Piece: POTUS Barack Obama Farewell Speech

This week, President Barack Obama bid farewell with his parting speech. I loved how he spoke about his love and admiration for his wife and daughters. He’s been one rockstar of a president and he’ll be truly missed.

Favourite Album: Grace VanderWaal

The America’s Got Talent winner, has an EP out called Perfectly Imperfect and I’ve had it on repeat since buying it on iTunes. Give it a listen, this girl is going places.

Favourite Stationery: Typo Notebooks

Oh Typo! I swear you were created to take all my money. A new year means new notebooks and everything-in-between. I always buy a few for my note-taking and list making.
