Spring is around the corner. I’ve noticed that the sun is rising a little earlier every passing day. I can’t wait to shed all my winter layers.
Speaking about layers, the winter months can add a few extra “kilinhos” as my grandmother refers it to you.
Those “kilinhos” offer stirs havoc once people notice how close spring is and a seasonal migration to the gyms begins.
I loathe that time of the year and for once I won’t be cursing under my breath at the men who never returns weights and the women who “reserve” a circuit machine with their towels.
Luckily for me, I’ve been working out throughout the winter months with boot camp. I managed to survive my first camp back in April and am still enjoying it.
If you’re looking for a different way to work out, I think boot camp might be for you. It’s a women only boot camp firstly, so there’s no need to feel terribly unconscious.
The exercises are far from monotonous as each day focuses on different exercises for different areas of your body.
You don’t have to plan your workout or pay a personal trainer, that’s taken care of by your boot camp trainer.
With many locations and times to choose from, you can find a boot camp to fit your schedule on their website.
For the next camp, there’s a Women’s Month special running that you and your mom will get a 20% discount off the camp.
If your mom’s not keen, enter the selfie competition and stand to win a free camp for you and your bestie.
Will it be hard in the beginning? Yes, but it will be worth it when you feel stronger than before.
Anyone keen on joining me at boot camp?
